Distribution Networks

Energy distribution represents the third phase of the energy chain.

Electricity is transmitted to the end user through transformers or cabins that are divided into primary and secondary. Primary cabins transform high voltage electricity into medium voltage electricity, while the secondary cabins transform electricity from medium voltage to low voltage.

Distribution networks cover shorter distances and transport electricity from substations to homes and businesses.
